David L. Boren Awards for International Study

Jeff Hales, a junior at Western Washington University is currently living and studying in Japan as a Boren Scholarship recipient.  Since the Boren Awards began offering awards, five students from Western Washington University have received awards.  Jeff, who is earning a major in international business, is spending the academic year at Akita International University in northern Japan.
