David L. Boren Awards for International Study

As part of the Discover Languages public awareness campaign, the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) held a student video contest.  Elementary school. middle school, high school, and post-secondary students submitted videos on how learning another language has been important in their lives.  Finalists were announced on Monday, January 23 and voting continues until midnight EST, Monday, January 30.
