The U.S. Department of State has named Philip Lyon as State Alumni member of the month. As a graduate student in 2004 at the University of Maryland - College Park, Philip received a Boren Fellowship to study in Croatia.  He is also an alumnus of the U.S. Student Fulbright Program and currently serves as the co-director of the Boren Forum, an alumni organization for recipients of awards from the National Security Education Program...

Caitlin Stull, a senior at Florida State University (FSU), has received a Boren Scholarship to study in Istanbul.  Caitlin is a double major in international affairs and English who plans to pursue a career in the U.S. Foreign Service. 2 Illinois Students Receive Scholarship

Two students from the University of Illinois, Brett Cox and Ryan Rogowski, have been selected to receive Boren Scholarships this year.
