Students at American University interested in the undergraduate Boren Scholarship or graduate Boren Fellowship should consult the Office of Merit Awards. AU students may request access to a Blackboard site with pointers on the Boren application process by sending an email to meritawards@american.edu.
One-on-one advising for the Boren Awards is available as of November. For undergraduate applicants, the campus deadline for first drafts is November 21, 2011. For graduate applicants, a Proposal Development Exercise is due November 30, 2011. AU has established further internal deadlines.

AU Student Receives Scholarship Wyatt Gordon, a senior at American University (AU), received a 2011 Boren Scholarship to study in Indonesia. Wyatt is in the School of International Service at American University and he plans to study Indonesian at Universityos Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
