USF Economics Student Receives Fellowship

Eric Fisher, a master’s student in economics at the University of San Francisco has received a Boren Fellowship for 2010-11.  Eric utilized the award to pursue advanced Arabic studies domestically this summer and will be spending nine months in Algeria.  While there, he will continue his language study and conduct economic research on the impact of an oil-based economy on youth education and employment.
