Reporting Requirements and Forms for Boren Fellows
Boren Fellows are required to submit progress reports during the course of their Boren-funded study. The reports may be downloaded from this site to be submitted to IIE via email (boren@iie.org), fax (202-326-7672), or mail. IIE prefers to receive the reports via email.
Fellows receiving overseas funding must submit a first overseas report within a month after arriving overseas and a final overseas report within a month after returning. Fellows receiving domestic funding must submit a first domestic report within a month after starting domestic study and a final domestic report within a month after completing domestic study.
Fellows receiving overseas and domestic study funding must fulfill both requirements stated above. Those Fellows going overseas immediately after the domestic portion must complete the final domestic report before going overseas.Failure to submit the reports by the required deadline could delay the disbursement of fellowship funds by up to a month. In addition, the final report, as well as the language post-test must be completed within 3 months of the completion of the Boren-funded program. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the final $500 payment.
